BBC Radio 1Xtra were there with an exciting line up of DJs and acts across both days. Like last year, the parade started and finished at the Victoria Embankment so spectators had plenty of opportunities to see the parade whilst enjoying the whole Carnival site. On Saturday 20th August carnival revellers were treated to a music festival for all age groups and styles including many local musicians.
The Robin Hood Energy Stage featured: Brinsley Forde and the Aswad Experience; Stylo G; Diztortion; Krishane; Melissa Steel; A.Dot; Ace; Triniboi Joocie; DJ One Step Ahead; Lisa Hendricks; Ashley Zeal; Namiwa Jazz; Kyanne; Traemondo and Fonez and the BBC Radio 1Xtra Showcase.
The Staar Sound Stage featured: Basslayerz; DJ Rudes & Jay Swerve; Junior B; Pure Flava and DJ Dibz and the BBC Radio 1Xtra Takeover.
The Confetti House @ Carnival featured: Graeme Park; Booker T; Cass Roc; Joe Buhdha; Akadian; and DJ D2
