Anyone can take part in the Nottingham Carnival and it takes hundreds of performers and volunteers to make every Carnival a success.

Carnival Stewards/Site Volunteers
A vital and prominent role in Carnival – easy to do and very rewarding. The show cannot go on without you!
Photography and Filming Assistants
Are you a brilliant photographer looking for some exposure? (Please bear in mind that we will ask for copies of your images for marketing purposes.)
Press and Marketing Assistants
Do you have experience of working in PR? Got some marketing ideas? We need people to assist with writing press releases, building our contacts list, writing copy, distributing publicity and coming up with some crazy (but cheap) marketing ideas.
Admin Assistants
We always need reliable and organised people to help with the multitude of office tasks.
Costume making
The dazzling costumes take months of planning and hours to make. If you can sew a costume, stick feathers and sequins on or help with designs we need you.
Please note: The Nottingham Carnival is funded by grants, sponsorship, stalls and ticket sales. We can pay for any expenses you incur (agreed in advance) and we will ensure that you are suitably refreshed but we are unable to pay for your time.
