Catching the tram to Carnival

For the first time this year you’ll be able to catch the NET Nottingham Tram to the Nottingham Carnival at Victoria Embankment by alighting at the Meadows Embankment stop.

You’ll need to get on a Clifton bound tram, so travelers from Toton Lane will need to switch trams at Nottingham Station.

NET’s specially priced £5 Group Ticket will be available all weekend and offers groups of two adults and up to three children a great value way of getting to the carnival.

Stephanie Moss-Pearce, NET’s Assistant Marketing Manager, explained: “This is the first year that our network has been able to take customers directly to the carnival’s site and we wanted to encourage as many people as possible to go and join in the fun by travelling on the tram.

“With direct trams from across Nottingham and our £5 Group Ticket available all weekend, the tram provides a value for money and hassle free way of getting to the carnival with family and friends.”
